Yesterday evening as we were coming home from some shopping we decided to call in and get something to eat at a Chinese restaurant in the town. We parked up in what we thought was an NCP car park with 2 cars in and went for an enjoyable meal. On returning we found that Jo’s 55 plate BMW had been towed - we’d only been gone for just under an hour. The rob dogs waiting for us (I could use stronger language) told us that it had been clamped and had only just been towed away - like hell!! So we asked how much - TWO HUNDRED and THIRTY POUNDS (£230). Broken down it is:

  • £90 - Clamping
  • £110 - Towing
  • £30 - Storage

The speed they worked at they must have clamped it before we got out of the car, 10 minutes later driven to Hexthorpe and picked up the recovery truck, loaded the car, drove back to Hexthorpe, offloaded the car, and then drove back to wait for us - and had the audacity to tell us that it had been clamped before it was towed.

Well when I am GSD these bastards will be tarred and feathered, then in the centre circle of the new Rovers stadium and given 230 lashes as well as the owners of the car parks who employ these morons - in this case the same loser who owns the clamping company.

And the fate of the 2 cars in the car park when we arrived - the clamper’s cars. Is this extortion of what?
