Recently I have been seeing adverts for Final Fantasy XII (or is it XIII), and this has posed the question “How can the previous 11 games have been called Final Fantasy, when by definition Final means last?

I read in the papers a small snippet about Jonathan Ross was embroiled in a race row after saying the BBC on employs black people as cleaners and doormen - not programme makers. Defending their self the BBC are quoted as saying that they have a “mixed and diverse workforce”. They then proceeded to drop themselves in it even further by announcing targets of 12.5 percent of ethic minority employees in the general workforce and seven percent in senior management.

In my mind this poses at least 2 questions -

I am currently using up what’s left of my annual leave, so I thought I’d take the opportunity to decorate Sam’s bedroom. Ok Jo suggested it. Alright, she told me that’s what I would be doing! Anyway, I like to play music while I’m decorating (REALLY LOUD), so I was looking for something to play I came across The Thieving Magpie - Marillion Live.

It’s been a while since I last listened to some Marillion, but I have to say that Derek Dick AKA Fish is one the best word-smiths I have ever come across. His word play is exquisite and his subject matter unusual. Check out anything from “Script for A Jesters Tear”, especially the title track - a song about unrequited love. My particular favourite at the moment is Punch & Judy, a song about the mundane existence that a lot of people fall into, and I must admit struck a chord as I listened to it.

According to the News of the World “Sven Ex Faria is £8,000 Hooker”, and …? She is an attractive woman with a good figure which she is using to earn a living, and if she can get away with charging £8,000 for 3 hours of sex then good on her.

We all prostitute ourselves. I have skills that my employer needs and in return they give me money (admitedly not that much). Is this an different to what Faria is doing? She has skills that a lot of womaen would like and most men would die to sample. She has a commidity, her body, and there is a market for it.

3 years ago the News of the World broke the story of Faria and Sven and, in not so many words, almost branded her a prostitute. Now she is, they paid £8,000 and did even get to sample the goods!
